Hi, I am using a windows computer which is behind a windows proxy server, which requires authentication. I entered my proxy server address and port number in the Android SDK manager window. But, the android SDK manager does not ask for Username and password of my proxy server. So, my proxy server does not allow me to install packages in android sdk.
I tried many work-arounds which are suggested in the following links. I have a doubt why Google android team did not think of this possibility? I wish the Android team would give a fix for this issue. I was very much interested in trying out Android development. I dont want this issue to stop me from trying Android development. Thanks in advance.
