Ugh...Love using buggy stuff. I originally had it in a loop to try 5 times but even then it was chancy, I might have to increase it to 15 or 20 and then like you say "fail gracefully". Thanks for the response. I'm going to investigate Bing Maps Location Service webservice. From what I have read thus far it doesn't seem to require the location to be shown on a map but if one uses a map it has to be a bing map if the service is being used.
