My phone is a SE Xperia X10i. But this doesn't play in the debug emulator nor on my phone. I'm sure it's the code. The only thing I could think of was perhaps android 1.6 (the target platform) couldn't play sounds from a widget, but I think mine did when it was on 1.6.
