I'm working on an app, and I would like to have the user be able to use one of their pictures as a resource file for the app. ex. one activity would allow the user to select their picture, then click a button and it opens a new activity that would have their select picture as a background image for the activity. There more to the app, but this is the part I am stuck on. Any help would be great. PS. I have done a ton of those gallery tutorials where you can scroll through pictures and select one and the picture goes full screen. That is not what I'm looking for, because those tutorials use images that are stored in the /drawable folder, I want the user to be able to select from the pictures they already.
