Android Developer – 6 month contract Dallas area, San Diego, or for the right candidate remote work is available!!! *NOT looking for application developers Skills: 7+ years of software development experience Linux/Android Java programming knowledge Kernel development knowledge Driver development knowledge- USB, displays, etc Multimedia development experience- audio/video/codec, etc. Power management experience Should possess excellent programming skills in C, and assembly languages (one or more of PPC, X86, ARM, MIPS) Experience with compiler technologies, such as object file formats, parsers, and code generation. Advanced knowledge of Linux internals, such as dynamic loader, shared libraries, Linux kernel, and system call architecture is a MUST Should be well versed with the usage of debugging tools Education: BS CS/EE or similar Preferred: OMAP experience highly desired but not required Knowledge of hardware architectures (Ex: PPC/X86/MIPS) is a plus Having Knowledge of other operating systems (NetBSD, Unix, OSE) is desirable.
