UpdateTask won out. It was sick easy to wire up and use and now I can do all this backgrounded threaded stuff that can update the UI. I am kindof surprised that the Handler message dispatch doesn't just behave the same way. If it did it would be so easy to just use handlers and bundles for this stuff. But thanks to all you guys (and gals hackbod, etc.) for what you do, you are enabling an entire new industry, its hard to put a value on that I know but I can tell you that it would be very difficult to figure this stuff out without you. My recommendation is to continue to write killer apps that illustrate these things and reference them like you did for this example.
