If you want to create namely for Froyo it'd be better to use Froyo SDK as your target. > or will I also have to upgrade OS image on the phone? So far each version is *backward* compatible, so if you got Froyo you can launch i.e. Cupkake's targeted apps. But if any app uses Froyo specific features it won't work on Cupkake.
