I have seen this question answered before in this group. Do a search on it. I think the answer was 'no'. The reason it cannot be done (or at least cannot be done simply) is that the phone's in-call audio and its multi-media audio are considered separate paths, the former is carefully guarded against tampering.
But rather than rely on my answer, do the search: just don't be too disappointed if you find that the only way to do it is to modify the phone application software on your own ROM.
