Hallo,

at the NFC Research Lab Hagenberg, we are also testing the new NFC API
for Nexus S. For easier use we've recompiled the SDK including the
(un-)hidden NFC API. You can get a copy of the platform folder for use
with the Android SDK here:
http://www.nfc-research.at/downloads/android-sdk_eng.mroland-x86.zip

Be warned: Use at your own risk ;-)

So far, I was able to directly (i.e. without NDEF abstraction) access
Mifare Ultralight & Classic tags. Mifare Classic has some hickups when
you use invalid authentication keys though. Regarding Type 1 tags and
APDU based communication, I would expect them to work as well,
although I haven't done any testing yet.
