It worked for me
OnClickListener mStartListener = new OnClickListener() {
public void onClick(View v) {
if (mStartTime == 0L) {
//Change this line: mStartTime = System.currentTimeMillis();
mHandler.removeCallbacks(mUpdateTimeTask);
mHandler.postDelayed(mUpdateTimeTask, 100);
}
Instead use mStartTime=SystemClock.uptimeMillis();
