Most of the devices  support multiple usb modi and
you have no standard way to know which one is
currently used. IMHO many usb details are currently vendor specific.

Their is also no sdk support for your requirement.

To point you in a  possible direction could be  for standard usb mass
storage
to check the same sysfs file handle which is used in the new
vold. But to poll on a sysfs handle is not so easy.
