Hello! I have Android SDK r10 and AVD for Android 3.0. Problem: emulator is QEMU-based and there is general problem - default caching policy results in extremely slow operation with disk images and high disk usage which leads to damage of host PC's hard disk. My OS Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64.
For QEMU I can manually change caching policy and it begins to work as expected. How to do the same for AVD (emulator)? P.S. I wondering why this problem is still not fixed. Other developer does not encounter with extremely slow disk performance? But this is well known QEMU's problem... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
