I have an Android 2.1 device, an ePad. All USB devices are showing up in
/dev/bus/usb and building libusb with the NDK allows me to work with the
connected devices. Currently have it controlling my Robot Arm. :)

What I want to know, is this the norm for Android devices and if so what
version did it become standard. The reason I ask is that my device has a
slightly modified android build and comes with Superuser installed from the
factory and so I don't know if this USB support I have is an addition the
manufacturer added or as standard?

Thanks,
Richard E Collins.
