Well the answer was simple: the attribute is "background". I use the following drawable to specify a red background color when clicking the button:
<selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:exitFadeDuration="@android:integer/config_mediumAnimTime"> <item android:state_window_focused="false" android:drawable="@android:color/transparent" /> <!-- Even though these two point to the same resource, have two states so the drawable will invalidate itself when coming out of pressed state. --> <item android:state_focused="true" android:state_enabled="false" android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@color/red" /> <item android:state_focused="true" android:state_enabled="false" android:drawable="@color/red" /> <item android:state_focused="true" android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@color/red" /> <item android:state_focused="false" android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@color/red" /> <item android:state_focused="true" android:drawable="@color/red" /> <item android:drawable="@android:color/transparent" /> </selector> On Mar 10, 9:58 am, Clément Plantier <clemplant...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > Using the Honeycomb action bar, when touching an action button, its > background become orange-colored (I'm using the Holo.Light theme).
