If request location updates using GPS, I see the locating beacon (the
thingie that looks like it is shooting rays ito the sky) on my status
bar. I assume that the icon indicates that the phone is actively trying
to determine a location - which means that it is chewing up the battery.
When onLocationChanged triggers, I get the new location and cancel my
listener. If I understand correctly, that should shut everything down.
So why is the beacon still showing on the status bar? Is there
something else I am supposed to do? Or is this a bug in the emulator?
