I am sorry... what do you mean by "pkey"? PUBLIC key or PRIVATE key? It is stupid to give away your private key, but your public key should be widely spread. So what's the problem with embedding the public key in the app? The only one who could read the encrypted message would be you, so it could be used to encrypt or sign messages sent by the app to its creator, and nothing else, but it would not be stupid, IMHO.
