I need to use 2 Google Voice accounts on my android. I have a Motorola Droid
now, and will be getting a Galaxy Tab ib a few days. Both are/will be
rooted. My main GV account is linked and connected for all the magic of
Google integration. The second account wont need all the integration, just
notifications, and the ability to text from the droid app.

My question is this. Can I just copy the GV app to a different folder, make
a "shortcut" for the apps list, and poof! have a second GV app that is
totally isolated from the main one?
I have done it before, but that was on several flavors of Ubuntu. Does it
work the same way pretty mush in Android?
Where would you suggest I copy this second instance of GV to?

Thanks
Keith
