It would be cool if Google released their performance results and started showing us the progress they were making. I know that I would be excited about any and all improvements. Of course, and I posted this in another thread, I think that an easily possible win might be to use COREMU ontop of QEMU so that we can actually have the Android emulator run different threads on different physical cores. Having different emulated threads running on different physical cores would be a fantastic improvement in my opinion.
Is there anything I could watch to see the progress of the emulator improvements? Could I just follow the repository or would Google be keeping these changes private for now?
