I was under the impression you were wanting to abandon the Android market all together. Anyway, from what I've heard, you don't have any links to the Android market in your app, you don't have to make any modifications to it in regards to posting it to Amazon. It appears that the only thing they ask you to change is to make sure that all of your market links point to the listings in the Amazon market and not the Android Market. So, there are very, very minor modifications to fit into the Amazon market (if any mods at all). So, why not place your app in both markets, just focus on the Amazon market for any new apps you write.
