AbsListView mNewspapersView =
(AbsListView)findViewById(R.id.localstore_newspapers);
this fails
mNewspapersView.setAdapter(new NewspapersListAdapter());
but if I do
((ListView)mNewspapersView).setAdapter(new NewspapersListAdapter());
this works ok
