Have you tracked and made sure that it is the exact same people that said that? What country do you think a new appstore should launch in first? I'll give you a hint: The Dev console shows that 57.2% of all apps were installed in the US. That's six times South Korea, the next biggest, and more than 60 times many other countries. Some of the countries that still aren't in Android Market probably have less than 0.1% of all the Android devices in the world. It's certainly fair to criticize Amazon or Google about the countries they don't serve, but it should be surprising why they choose countries in certain orders. They are for-profit corporations. They don't choose countries according to racial bias, political leanings, or a benevolent desire to give equal access to all of earth's creatures. They choose them according to *money*.
