Already tried to do absolutely the same extracting (alternative 1) and 
drawing the extracted bitmap in GLES20 - no problems and no SIGSEGV 
problems.
The problem really seems to be the Canvas drawing...
Are there maybe some restrictions I could propose on Paint element? On the 
other hand it's ok with the current settings if the original ARGB is drawn 
instead of the extracted A...
I'm at a loss here, please share workarounds.
