Have you actually tried the product (the Appstore)? It's *leaps and bounds* beyond the Android Market. Search actually works. You can filter apps. Reviews require both rating and comment so require some thought. Personally, the only one I was even aware of, besides Google's obviously, was SlideMe, and that's because people that worked on it had a very public discussion about that store in this group. Brand name is a pretty important factor when you're trying to get people to buy from a store and get your product sold. Could you elaborate on how these are better (I'm genuinely curious).
