Hi,
I have two columns A, B that have just text. I need to concat them
with a symbol. As in
A='hello'
B='world'
select => 'hello ## world'
I could do that with "select A || ' ## ' || B from mytable" except
that the symbol is not #. It's a chapter indicator, which is UNICODE u
+0025.
The general question is: how do you pass that unicode to the select so
it concats it correctly? I can always select A, B and do the
concatenation in the Java side, but it'd be a lot easier if I can do
it this way (long story).
I don't see how to use Collate UNICODE in this case ('abc' COLLATE
UNICODE will return the accented 'a', for example, but what do you put
in the string to collate to a symbol?
Thanks!
