Is there a way to access a specific email from a non email app? Specifically I would like to be able to ask the Gmail app for all of the emails with a specific subject so I can get some information from them. The use case is I have a mail synchronization application on my computer that I want to be able to leave a message in folder that lets the phone know the last time the email was synced.
Everything I've read and seen suggests I will have to modify an existing email application or write my own client to access the imap files.
