I'am working on a product which can't be moved (no rotation allowed). The
screen is in landscape, and I have a problem for displaying applications
in portrait.
In the Android 2.3 compatibility definition document we have the following
recommendations:
Devices that cannot be physically rotated MAY meet this
requirement by "letterboxing" applications that request portrait mode, using
only a portion of the available display.
How can I display these applications in a landscape screen ? This job isn't
already done in the framework.
Do you have any idea of how can I implement this solution ?
