I'm using adb forward to bind a host TCP port to a listening TCP port on an app on my emulator. However, this only binds to the localhost interface on my host, and I would like to be able to connect to the emulator from a remote machine.
I've read suggestions for essentially adding a third-party proxy on my host into the mix, to forward network requests to the local interface. However, I'd like to verify that there's no standard way to make this work with adb, before going down that path. The less moving parts I have in my solution, the better.
