Hi All, I was trying to add the proxy and the port from the APN settings. After pulling the settings.db, I found that the proxy:port values had not been inserted in the 'secure' or 'system' table.
I looked in the above two tables since a lot of web queries showed the query to insert the values into the mentioned tables. On probing the source of Gingerbread, I found out that the values are being stored in the com.android.providers.telephony/telephony.db Is this a change in the Gingerbread or am I getting my research wrong?
