FWIW, HTC won't be any help at all... I have a problem with a bug in one of my apps on HTC devices that have the Sense UI. It works fine on HTC devices running the Vanilla Android OS...
When I contacted them their response was "Sorry, we don't provide support for 3rd party applications."
