>>You may not collect future charges from users for copies of the Products that

These few words in the Developers Agreement have been the subject of
much speculation and discussion among the developer community, but I
think a lot of us would like to hear DEFINITIVE ANSWERS FROM GOOGLE so
there is no ambiguity:

1. Does this language allow a developer to deploy a free app now and
start charging for the same exact version with no new features or
fixes later FOR NEW USERS that download it after the Market is payment-
enabled?

2. Can the developer charge existing users (of the free version) for
an upgrade in the future?

3. Is it ok for the app to not declare explicitly that it is a free
trial, and charge existing users for an upgrade in the future? (Most
apps on the market don't say they are a free trial)

4. When the Market supports paid apps, will it provide a way for
existing users to UPGRADE TO A PAID VERSION of an app that they have
previously downloaded for free?

5. Does a version with bug fixes (sans new features) count as as a
"new copy of the Product" that can be charged for to existing users of
the free product.

6. Is it out of the question to release a product as a free trial now
and charge EXISTING USERS for it (for the same version) when the free
trial expires (once the Market can handle payments)?

7. Is payment-enablement still on track for Q1?

BTW, my best guess at the answers for the above is: "Yes to all", but
Google can you please confirm/deny?
