TreKing's prediction is likely to be true if you do just open the webapp in 
the browser. However, if you open it in a webview in your own native app - 
and it really is a "super nice web-app" - most users won't know the 
difference and you'll probably do fine.

And that's not just speculation. I did this myself in the early days of my 
Android development, in late 2009. The web app in question isn't "super 
nice" by any stretch, to be honest I'm kinda embarrassed by it these days. 
But it does what it says, and it's free, and it's currently somewhere north 
of 500k downloads with a 4-star rating.
