I finished this little app as mainly a test of basic4android and the app works well at least on my Android G1. Information about the app and a download link can be found at Fly Away Home<http://tombtalk.net/?p=116> It's a little app to help you find you car in the mall parking lot. When you arrive, you press Mark after you have GPS reception. When you exit the mall, you press Find and the app will give you the distance and the magnetic heading to your car. After a short learning curve I was able to use some of the Basic4Android tutorial material and I added a few subroutines I use in the Geeocaching stuff I do.
The only issue is that Android Market doesn't want to accept my signed and verified .apk. Perhaps others will complain and somebody will fix Android market or the Basic4Andrid signing program. I reported the issue here on this forum and on the Basic4Android forum. Best Tom Birchmire -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
