Greeting to Team,

I having a problem to kill my activity running at background.

Here is my class.

public class bookmark extends Activity {
        @Override
        public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
                super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
                String url = "http://www.myurl.com";;
                Intent i = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
                i.setData(Uri.parse(url));

                startActivity(i);
                finish();

        }

        @Override
        public void onDestroy() {
                super.onDestroy();
                System.out.println("My Android ID
"+android.os.Process.myPid());
                android.os.Process.killProcess(android.os.Process.myPid());
        }

}

In my Log files:-

05-30 08:49:55.531: INFO/System.out(277): My Android ID 277
05-30 08:49:55.531: INFO/Process(277): Sending signal. PID: 277 SIG: 9
05-30 08:49:55.571: INFO/ActivityManager(41): Process bookmark.shop
(pid 277) has died.
05-30 08:50:05.551: WARN/ActivityManager(41): Activity destroy timeout
for HistoryRecord{407a0300 bookmark.shop/.bookmark}

Its claim the process has died.
but when I long press the home button, my activity still there at
background somehow.

Any one have any idea how can I kill my activity?

Your attention is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Wesley.
