I am implementing my own BroadcastReceiver to handle Android Market referrer data and it's getting passed correctly when I follow the referral link on my device. However, when I follow the same referral link from my computer and choose to send the app to my device, the referral data does not get sent.
Why is there a difference between the two? Am I implementing this wrong, or is there a problem with the market?
