MERGE!

I had a bit of a battle doing this unil I went and praticed the layout
tutorials over at
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/layout-objects.html

in short you have to merge your two layouts, the image view being
first in your xml, and then the textview so it goes on top.

Hope this helps,
Fred
