Hello, in my android application I have a ListPreference that is empty under certain circumstances. In that case, I'd like to show a hint (a short text) in the ListPreference explaining why it is empty. What's the best way to do that? I would prefer to place the hint like an item meaning I don't want to abuse the dialog title or show a new dialog. I want the hint to be included in the empty ListPreference like a normal item, just without a radio button. Thanks for any hint!
