i tested this code
TelephonyManager telephonyManager =((TelephonyManager)
context.getSystemService(Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE));
String operatorName =
telephonyManager.getNetworkOperatorName();
Log.e("service provider ", operatorName);
and the output in simulator = Android
is this a correct result on simulator or not ????
