Thank you for your response. I may be mistaken about the intended purpose, but what I was referring to is the permission-tree<http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/permission-tree-element.html>. There appears to be a function for dynamically adding permissions. However, I realize that it most likely does not apply in this context.
