I'd like to create an Android application which runs during a phone call and manipulates voice input from the caller on the "other end" of the call, for example prompting the person on the other end to speak and then parrot that speech back to them, etc. and/or do some simple voice recognition. (I'll leave the "why" for another discussion.) Could somebody tell me whether API's exist for this kind of speech processing?
