Hi,

I downloaded the latest Gingerbread source code i.e. 2.3.4 from the
Android repository and wanted to root the Custum built image(by making
minor changes in the App framework) of the same in to Nexus
S .But,after downloading the source i came to know that Nexus S
supports 2.3.4_r1.Now
my question is:
 1.is this "2.3.4_r1" included in 2.3.4 source that I downloaded..?if
yes, how can i find this and make a custum build only for 2.3.4_r1 ?
2.I know that ,for the android to boot from the SD card, the build
needs to placed in .zip fromat
in the root folder. But,what files actually need to be there in
this ".zip" folder?I have ported Froyo
in to Ti's Zoom3 board and made it boot from the SD card. There i
loaded 2 bootloaders,a kernel image and the android FS in to SD
card.Is this the same?

P.S:I am newbie to this Platform. So,please forgive me for my Ignorance

Regards,
Rajeev
