I too get some problems with the emulator. I have a MacBook Pro. 1) Sometimes after closing a precious project and working on another one when I use the emulator to test the app it runs the previous projects app. I need to close the emulator and start it thrice to get the right app working.
2) Once I start eclipse I can only use the emulator properly once. If I shut it down and start it again the logcat text doesn't appear. Restarting eclipse solve's the problem. Updating the tools and sdk manager doesn't help.(r12, rev 5, downgraded from 6).
