Right, there is no upper bound timeout for an expected reply in the NfcA 
protocol. But the NXP544 chip that is used for NFC communications on the 
Nexus S can be set with a timeout for waiting for an expected reply and a 
number of times to try again if the card does not respond with in that time 
frame. I was just wondering what that timeout value is, and if I could 
change it.
