Hi all, Currently I'm trying to make an Activity attempt to bind to a Service. I don't want this Activity to start the service if the service wasn't running.
Is there a way to bind to a service without starting it if it wasn't running? My goal is that one Activity is the only one that can start and finish the Service. Other activities just try to hook to the Service if it was running. This other Activities use callbacks to display Service status. Thanks for your time and help!
