I noticed that starting the emulator disables DPMS and it is not re- enabled when the emulator closes. So my monitor was never going to sleep until I re-enabled DPMS manually. Does anyone know why it does this and/or how to fix it? As a temporary solution I have wrapped the executable in a shell script to run `xset +dpms` when the emulator finishes, but this is probably not ideal. Ubuntu 10.04.
