I recently upgraded the firmware of my HTC Desire from 2.2 to 2.3.3, and since then I find that after starting an Activity I need to call
toggleSoftInput(InputMethodManager.SHOW_FORCED, 0); exactly *3* times before it pops up the soft keyboard. After that it works upon every call until I restart my Activity. I did not have this problem in Android 2.2, and my old ADP1 running Android 1.6 also always pops up the soft keyboard upon a first call. Anyone else experiencing this?
