Ok thanks Mark. The only "strange" things they did (since they were written a while back from not so experienced developers) was read and write files (log files) on the SD Card using File I/O classes and use the file:///android_asset/ ... from WebViews for opening html files locally. Has access to storage been disabled after 2.2 using file:// or is that a misleading information I read in a posting?
