I tried this, but for some reason the theme only applies to
LoginActivity but not SettingsActivity:

        <application android:icon="@drawable/icon" android:label="@string/
app_name"
                android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Holo.Light"
android:name="Test">
                <activity android:name=".LoginActivity"
android:screenOrientation="portrait">
                        <intent-filter>
                                <action
android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
                                <category
android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
                        </intent-filter>
                </activity>
                <activity android:name=".SettingsActivity"
android:screenOrientation="portrait" android:theme="@android:style/
Theme.Holo.Light">
                        <intent-filter>
                                <action
android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
                        </intent-filter>
                </activity>
        </application>

(Part before and after <application> tags removed.)
