I have an application where I need to check whether the user is using the actual device not a emulator or others. I have seen the API where there is device id method from phone service. I need a generic way to check if the user is on the real device. For example if he has downloaded the app from the market, i need to know the device id of the user, this is strictly for licensing and restricting the use of app.
