I am not quite sure (i never used ksoap2), but i can come up with these possible causes:
1. Does your XML have some extra white-space before the top XML tag * Envelope*? 2. Try to set your NAMESPACE variable to " http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"; instead. 3.
