Adjust your *build target* to 11. In Eclipse, this is in project
properties. Outside of Eclipse, it's in one of those properties files.

Well, that's still search. Just because you happen to be searching
POIs and not a list of lorem ipsum words doesn't mean it's not search.

Long-press may be difficult. AFAIK, you can't find out about long
presses on options menu items.
